This bachelorette cabin getaway will have you packing your bags for Gatlinburg, TN

Stacy and her girls threw one heck of a party for Claire’s September bachelorette in Gatlinburg, TN. Complete with sushi, a group pole dancing class, and so many thoughtful and unique details, we actually have FOMO looking at the photos from “Claire’s Cabin Crew” Bachelorette Bash. They started the weekend in a beautiful VRBO, and had enough going-out and staying-in activities to please all the introverts and extroverts of the group. We broke down their entire itinerary and favorite stops below.

And the best part? Claire had no idea that she was heading to her own bachelorette party!

Each girl arrived to these fun swag bags, which inspired the color palette for the rest of the weekend.

The Cabin Crew Bach Itinerary

Thursday

  • Setup at the VRBO cabin, decorated and cooked dinner

  • The bride arrived for the surprise!

  • After dinner, got dressed up for karaoke and dancing! (They closed down two different bars that night!)

Friday

  • Pajama party mimosa brunch. The bridesmaids had matching sets, and everyone wore pj’s, along with the custom eyemasks from their swag bags.

  • Opened gifts.

  • Got ready & packed for day trip to Knoxville.

  • Attended a pole dancing class - (“amazing & surprisingly difficult!”)

  • Ate dinner at the Downtown Grill & Brewery.

  • Strolled through market Square in Knoxville and had drinks at a rooftop bar.

  • Went to a karaoke bar at Knoxbox Karaoke. Stopped at the Taco Bell drive-through on the way back to our cabin.

Saturday

  • Started their chill day with a continental style breakfast.

  • Broke off into small groups to spend the day how they wanted.

  • Some stayed to recover and relax at the cabin while others went into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for shopping and site seeing.

  • Ordered sushi and hibachi carry out.

  • After dinner they played games with lots of prizes, and even video called with the groom for one of the games.

  • After the games everyone changed into their bathing suits for a glow-in-the-dark pool party

  • There, they had a final toast and everyone swam and hung out in the hot tub.

  • They wrapped it up by midnight so that everyone could go to bed for early departure the next morning.

Enough activities for the introverts and extroverts: For the day-out activities in Gatlinburg, the girls hit the town for pole dancing, drinks, dancing, and karaoke.

Enough activities for the introverts and extroverts: the group spent nights in with fun bach games and swimming in their VRBO pool. And, they had an easy morning of brunch and PJs on their first morning together.

How they kept the party a surprise

According to Stacy from Claire Voyant Events & Design, “The entire trip was a surprise. Due to Covid I started planning the trip a year ago and reserved our cabin. I was afraid if we waited that we would not be able to find anything. The maid of honor was in charge of creating a decoy party that was intended for a small group at the start of October. The actual party was September 16-19 in Gatlinburg. The bridesmaids got Claire to the cabin by telling her that one of the girl’s sister-in-law‘s had offered a cabin to them for free if they would review it for Vrbo. Claire was completely shocked when she realized that this was her actual party!”

And a surprise wardrobe!?

The entire weekend was structured around making memories and keeping the party stress-free. But, surprising a bride with an entire weekend of activities without warning or wardrobe could be slightly intimidating. Not to worry, though, because Stacy came completely prepared with an entire white wardrobe for Claire to choose from. Claire could choose any piece from the rack to wear for the weekend AND take it home with her afterwards!

Venmo the Bride! The girls tried out this Venmo hack, and a few people bought them drinks (and recovery drinks!) See how to do it here.

They used our favorite Drinking Buddies, and even found one with the groom’s name!
