11 Alcohol-Free Bachelorette Ideas (Sober and Under 21 Friendly!)

We want you to have a great time at your bachelorette, and if your party includes minors, or you just don’t want to drink (and that’s totally okay!), here’s a few ideas for bachelorettes that are under-21-friendly:

1. AirBnB Pool Party

Rent an AirBnB with a pool, and have fun soaking up the sunshine, drinking lemonade, and playing poolside games. Get matching suits and hire a photographer for a photoshoot. Instead of going out, hire an in-home chef to grill for the bachelorettes poolside.

Theme Ideas: The Last Splash, Diving into [Last Name], Wet ’n Wild, Bach and Splash

Activities: Lawn Games, Personal Chef, Making Alcohol-Free Margs, Photoshoot, Beach Volleyball, Tanning, Swimming

Decor: Inflatable LED beach balls, Matching Suits, Balloon Arch, Spray Painted Pineapples, Floaties

2. Cabin Getaway

For the outdoorsy bride, head out to a cabin in the woods for a secluded getaway. This is great for a relaxing weekend, but you can still make it feel like a bachelorette by making a fun itinerary, getting the bride a custom jean jacket or flannel, and setting up an outdoor seating and campfire spot with a boho flair. Get some fresh air and go on a hike, take a pontoon out on the lake, rent bikes, or even go axe throwing!

Theme Ideas: Mountains Before Marriage, S’more of the Single Life

Activities: Hiking, pontoon tour of the lake, rent bikes, roasting s’mores, picnic, axe throwing, take a ski lift to the top of a mountain

Decor: Custom jean jacket or flannel, boho campfire setup, string lights, s’more station

3. Karaoke Night

Take on downtown and do some karaoke with your favorite bachelorettes and your favorite soundtracks. You can extend the night by doing a progressive dinner, where you have one course of each meal at a different restaurant, and end at karaoke. This can be really fun for a musical-loving bride if you add some theatrical flair by dressing up as characters from her favorite musical (Mama Mia or the Pink Ladies Anyone?).

Theme Ideas: American Idol: [Bride’s Name] Edition, The Voice, Here We Go Again!, Pink Ladies

Activities: Karaoke (duh), progressive dinner, musical marathon, dress up

Decor: Musical-Themed Party Favors, wigs, boas, bride mic

4. Slumber Party

A bachelorette party is the opportunity to throw the ultimate slumber party that your younger self couldn’t imagine in her wildest dreams. Go overboard — get all the junk food, favorite rom coms, and slumber party games you could ever want (MASH, or prank calling the groom?). Start the evening with a DIY spa day, complete with homemade facials and pedicures. Then, change into matching pajamas and scrunchies for a movie marathon. For extra flair, rent a movie-theater-style popcorn machine and project movies onto the wall.

Theme Ideas: Any 90’s rom com, [Bride’s Name]’s Slumber Party

Activities: Rom com marathon, board games, DIY spa day, fondu, tie dye,

Decor: Boho pillow fort, scrunchies, Spa Area, Movie theater popcorn machine, sleep masks, PJ’s

5. Flower Picking and Brunch

Head to a you-pick flower farm and arrange them to take home, to use as bouquets, or even for table arrangements. Before or after picking, head to brunch and splurge on a nice meal and share stories about the bride. This is a great activity if you don’t have a lot of time for the bachelorette, or you can combine it with a slumber party or spa day!

Theme Ideas: I Pick You to be My Bridesmaid, Tea Party / Brunch

Activities: Flower picking, brunch, photo-ops

Decor: French countryside tea party, flowers, summer dresses

6. Rent an Arcade Space

Rent out an arcade space all to yourselves, and have a blast driving go-karts, playing laser tag, and winning all the tickets. Instead of cashing out your tickets at the arcade, add an extra incentive by awarding the person with most tickets a fun prize at the end of the day, like a mani-pedi, a Starbucks gift card, or an Amazon gift card. Gift everyone matching fanny packs to hold their tickets and candy.

Theme Ideas: 80’s, Throwbach Bash

Activities: Go-karts, laser tag, obstacle course, arcade games

Decor: Matching T Shirts and bucket hats, fanny packs, banner with bride’s name or theme

7. Head to a Selfie Studio

For the content queen, reserve a time slot at a selfie studio! These studios are popping up all around the country, and are basically a room full of crazy custom photography sets for influencer-level creative photos — complete with great lighting and props. You can start the day by getting your hair and makeup done, and even hire a photographer to follow you along for the photoshoot, or just use your phones.

Theme Ideas: Bachelorette + Content, Under the Influencer, Single Selfies

Activities: Hair + Makeup, Sleepover after, photoshoot

Decor: Disposable cameras or polaroid, wedding hashtag sign, matching outfits

8. Fiesta / Taco Tuesday

For groups who love to cook, spend some time planning to have the ultimate taco bar. Have everyone spend time prepping together — from marinating carne asada, to grilling some shrimp, to making horchata. Or, have an actual taco truck roll up for the bachelorette. Complete the party with a dry bar and learn to make mocktails together, fill a piñata with party favors or gifts for the bride, and take photos in front of a colorful photo booth.

Theme Ideas: Taco ‘bout a Party, Final Fiesta, Fiesta de la [Bride’s Name]

Activities: DIY Taco bar or taco truck, mocktails, piñata, photo booth, lawn games

Decor: Streamer photo backdrop, cactus decorations, mini piñatas, matching tank tops

9. Roller Skating

Put on your favorite 70’s attire, and head to the roller dome. Roller skating is a great group activity, especially for larger bridal parties. Add some extra charm by heading to the roller rink early and decorating the place to surprise the bride, and get her a fringe “Bride” jacket to skate around in. Rent a VW photo booth van for some fun photos after you skate.

Theme Ideas: Throwbach, 70’s, [Bride’s Name]’s Groovy Bachelorette

Activities: Rollerskating, dressing up, drinking slushies, racing, photo-ops

Decor: flower power, disco balls, VW van

10. Spa Day

Treat yourselves to a luxurious spa day. This is a great option because it gets you all ready to look amazing on the wedding day, and it’s a relaxing break from wedding planning. Imagine how relaxed everyone will be after getting a massage, sitting in the sauna, getting facials, and basically being pampered all day. Get matching, cozy robes to really set the tone for the day.

Theme Ideas: R&R, Bachelorette and Chill

Activities: the spa, brunch or dinner

Decor: Cozy robes, bride sash

11. Amusement Park

Take the bachelorette party to an amusement park, and spend the day riding roller coasters. You can all wear matching ball caps or bucket hats, and keep your things organized in fanny packs. This is a great activity because there is minimal decorating, and you won’t run out of things to do. Make it a one-day event, or head back to an AirBnB for a chill evening and dinner.

Theme Ideas: One Last Ride, A Wild Ride

Activities: Riding roller coasters, carnival games, dinner

Decor: matching hats, fanny packs, swim suits, bride sash
