Other Names for Bachelor(ette) parties

While activities, traditions, and origins may vary, most weddings nowadays have a celebration leading up to the ceremony where the men and women individually go out and celebrate one last day of singleness for the bride or groom. We compiled a list of some of the most common names to refer to a bachelorette in other countries. If you have the time, we encourage you to dig into the meaning and significance of each one to the culture, and how it originated — you may be surprised by how similar or different each celebration is.
